Scuba Diving instructor, center manager or diver wishing to teach First Aid, the EFRI instructor program is made for you! You will be required to be in active status as an OWSI PADI Instructor. You will have the chance teach the rescue program to Rescue and Divemaster divers.

– Emergency First Response Primary Care
– Emergency First Response Secondary Care
– Emergency First Response Care for Children
– Emergency First Response RCP & DEA
During the formation, you will develop competences as a rescue worker and focus on the development of your capacity of instruction to teach this knowledge to others. The EFRI course provides you with the additional training necessary to teach first aid courses. Thanks to a multimedia approach (including independent studies, classroom sessions and practical activities) you will learn to teach Emergency First Responses.
The instructor course covers the objectives and performance requirements of the Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care, Child Care and CPR & DEA courses, as well as instructions on structuring learning, performance training requirements and your role as an instructor.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE PRIMARY CARE (CPR):
The CPR teaches participants how to respond to life threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and the use of realistic scenarios, to ensure confidence in their ability to provide care in emergency situations.

Emergency First Response Secondary Care:
First Aid covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Participants will focus on secondary assessment and first aid through the development of knowledge, the development of skills and the production of realistic scenarios.

To be finally prepared, it is recommend to get the pedagogical e-learning kit of the instructor, composed by these 16 elements:
– Minimum age: 18
– Being EFR in Primary and Secondary aids certificated 24 months ago
The price of this one-day formation is 290 euros. It doesn’t include :
– The application taxes : 128.40 euros (directly payable to PADI)

In 1997, he discovers scuba diving and it became a reason to do travel the world.
PADI Instructor since august 1998, Patrick dived and taught in different places as Tunisia, Egypt, Thailand, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Maldives, Indonesia, Philippines…
Polyvalent and expertise PADI Instructor, he owns more than a thousand of professional certifications.
Since 2006, his objective is to teach the Pro PADI level and he does it with passion and pleasure!
With many Tec, Sidemount and Sout diving experiences, he will be more than happy to transmit all his knowledge and background to make you success! He is the kind of mentor that will always teach you more than what you need to know and will always be available for you.
